"Sure Beats A Desk Job” by Jerry Anderson depicts the new Raytheon T-6 Texan II, pulling up into the inverted portion of a "loop" maneuver.

The Beechcraft T-6 Texan II is a single-engined turboprop aircraft built by the Raytheon Aircraft Company (now Hawker Beechcraft). Based on the Swiss-designed Pilatus PC-9, the T-6A is used by the U.S. Air Force for basic pilot training and the T-6B is employed by the U.S. Navy for Primary and Intermediate Joint Naval Flight Officer (NFO) and Air Force Combat Systems Officer (CSO) training. It has replaced the Air Force's Cessna T-37B Tweet and is replacing the Navy's Beech T-34C Turbo Mentor. The T-6A is also used as a basic trainer by the air forces of Canada (CT-156 Harvard II), Germany, Greece, Israel (Efroni), Mexico, Morrocco, and Iraq.

With its extremely nimble flight characteristics, it has proven to be very popular with pilots, which inspired the title of this print...who wants to labor in a dreary cubicle somewhere when you can be doing THIS for a living?

These fine art prints are unique in that they can be digitally modified for an additional fee to reflect the paint scheme and tail markings of any T-6 squadron anywhere in the world. You can even have the pilot's name stenciled beneathed the canopy!

If you would like customization, or a version with markings not currently offered, please contact the artist at jerry@jerryandersonart.com before purchase.
