"V1....Rotate!" depicts an American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145 as it lifts from the runway on takeoff roll. American Eagle Airlines is a feeder network that is part of the American Airlines worldwide system, consisting of wholly-owned subsidiaries such as Envoy, Piedmont, and PSA airlines as well as other airlines which provide additional capacity under contract. American Eagle carriers operate more than 300 aircraft, serving over 150 destinations with in excess of 1800 daily flights.

The Embraer ERJ-145 is one of the first generation of "regional jets" that quickly came to dominate many markets in the US and abroad after their introduction in the 1980s and 1990s. They are expected to remain a large part of the airline industry for many years to come.
